Privacy and optional updates
Odd Little Logic is the trading name of the independent UK creator who owns and runs this website. Its owner is responsible for your information (the controller). For questions or privacy requests, email privacy@oddlittlelogic.com. If you need the owner’s legal name or a UK address for formal correspondence, ask in writing at that address.
What you are signing up for
The form is optional. By ticking its box, you ask us to email you about new videos and occasional merchandise releases. We are collecting interest now; automatic updates have not started. There is no regular newsletter, and no confirmation email is sent at this stage.
What we keep and why
We keep your email address, the wording and version of your request, its date and expiry, its website source, and a secure hash of your private withdrawal token. We use this to record your interest and let you withdraw it, relying on your affirmative consent. We do not ask for your name, sell your address, or share it for another organisation's marketing.
The form does not store IP addresses, device identifiers, advertising data or open/click tracking. Our website provider may process connection and security information to operate its infrastructure. We use an aggregate submission counter to limit abuse, without keeping a visitor history.
Where it is stored
Addresses are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database in the European Union, separate from our email inbox. Only authorised business operators can access it. Cloudflare provides the website and database under its data-processing terms, including the UK Addendum for applicable international transfers. Website, security and support processing may involve Cloudflare's global infrastructure; EU database storage does not mean all processing stays in the EU.
If you contact us by email, your message passes through our existing Cloudflare, Apple and Google mail services and is kept only as needed to answer and manage your request.
Expiry and withdrawal
Your interest expires 90 days after your first request. Asking again does not extend it. Expired entries are removed on use of the form's API and by a daily deletion task; if maintenance is unavailable, deletion may wait until the next successful run. We will not use expired entries.
Save the private withdrawal link shown after your first request. Open it and press “Withdraw my request” to delete your active entry. The secret is in the part of the link after # and is not emailed. Anyone with that link can withdraw the request, so keep it private. Asking again does not replace your original link.
If you lose the link, contact us at the address above. We will make an appropriate identity check before accessing, changing or removing a record. Cloudflare's recovery copies may retain removed information for up to seven further days. We will not restore old subscriber records into active use.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can also request access, correction, erasure or restriction, and portability where applicable. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Addresses submitted here are not yet verified as belonging to their submitter. Before sending updates, we will establish and test a suitable address-verification and unsubscribe process. This form does not import contacts or send campaigns.
